Honghao Chemical New Product (New Technology) Appraisal Meeting

On March 5, 2017, the Liaoning Provincial Committee of Industry and Information Technology hosted in Liaoyang City a new product of "boron-10 acid produced by boron trifluoride methyl ether complex method" developed by Liaoning Honghao Chemical Industry Co., Ltd. ( new technology) appraisal meeting. Participants include: 1. Provincial Industry and Information Technology Commission, Provincial Science and Technology Department, Municipal Economic and Information Commission, Municipal Science and Technology Bureau; 2. Relevant experts; 3. Financial system; 4. Enterprise leaders and staff; 5. News reporters. An appraisal committee composed of experts and representatives in the fields of neutron absorbing materials, geological disposal of high-level radioactive waste, radiation technology, nuclear fuel, and nuclear chemistry has been established.

At the meeting, the appraisal committee listened to the trial production work summary, technical summary and other reports made by the project completion unit, reviewed relevant materials such as product inspection reports, user opinions and scientific and technological innovation reports, inspected the production site, and after inquiries and discussions, The appraisal opinion is formed as follows:


1. The identification materials are complete and standardized, and meet the new product (new technology) identification requirements;


2. Using the company's original new dehydration method and other technologies, it has solved a series of technical problems such as easy decomposition of raw materials and intermediate products, easy blockage of pipelines and tower systems in the production process of boron trifluoride methyl ether complex method to produce boron-10 acid , simplifies the production process, realizes the continuous and stable operation of the equipment, and is innovative;


3. During the trial production period, more than 260 kilograms of boron-10 acid products with an abundance of 95% and 2 kilograms of products with an abundance of 99% were stably produced. The product indicators can meet the application needs of nuclear energy and nuclear medicine;


4. High-abundance products have been used in scientific research projects of Shanghai Institute of Silicate, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Suzhou Research Institute of Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Institute of Materia Medica, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, etc., and the use effect is good;


5. The company has reasonable production technology, complete production equipment, complete testing methods and quality assurance system, and has mass production capacity.


It is recommended to strengthen cooperation with relevant scientific research units and production enterprises, and increase market development efforts.


In conclusion, the process technology and product quality have reached the domestic leading level, and it has great promotion and application value in the fields of nuclear energy and nuclear medicine in my country, and it is agreed to pass the appraisal.
