The company's boron-10 acid products won the Gold Award for National Frontier New Materials Products

On September 16, the boron-10 acid product independently developed by the company won the gold medal in the field of cutting-edge materials at the 5th China International New Materials Industry Expo. The boron-10 acid product is the core material of the boron-10 series neutron absorber, and has an irreplaceable role in the nuclear industry, national defense industry, nuclear medicine and other fields. Previously, only a few such as the United States, Russia, and Japan were able to achieve industrialized production.

The 5th China International New Materials Industry Expo has three awards: Gold Award for Exhibits, Organization Award and Exhibition Arrangement Award. In the early stage, after the preliminary evaluation of the 5th New Expo Exhibit Gold Award by the evaluation expert group, and the re-evaluation by the expert advisory committee of the New Materials Industry Development Leading Group, 60 exhibits were selected for the gold award from the 159 participating products. Among them, high-end metal structural materials participated in 17 exhibits and won 7 awards; special metal functional materials participated in 34 exhibits and won 12 awards; new inorganic non-metallic materials participated in 29 exhibits and won 11 awards; high-performance fibers and composite materials participated in the evaluation. 24 items, 10 awards; advanced polymer materials participated in 29 exhibits and won 11 awards; cutting-edge materials participated in 26 exhibits and won 9 awards. At the same time, after the examination and approval of the Organizing Committee of the Fifth New Expo, 41 Organization Awards and 33 Exhibition Arrangement Awards were selected.

At this conference, a total of 9 gold medals in the field of cutting-edge new materials were selected nationwide, and Honghao Chemical became the winner of this honor in Liaoning Province.
